Acting Deputy Headteacher – St Anne’s Catholic Primary School
L5 - 10
Required for September 2024
We are looking for an excellent, committed, and enthusiastic leader to work in our creative, forward thinking, and happy Catholic School, where we aim to give children the best days of their lives. You will support the work of the Headteacher and be an excellent classroom practitioner, with a sound understanding of child development and the principles and practices of primary education.
The successful candidate will:
- Be a practising Catholic
- Have a track record of whole school impact and be able to demonstrate excellent classroom practice with high expectations of pupil attainment
- Is dynamic and supportive of the Headteacher in driving the school forwards.
- Can inspire others through positive partnerships and will work with children, staff, parents and governors to secure the possible outcomes for all

St Anne’s Catholic Primary School is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Key Stage 1 class teacher to cover maternity leave starting in September 2024. Join our well-established and supportive team of educational professionals in our school, which was rated as good by Ofsted in December 2022, and make a positive impact on the learning journey of our Key Stage 1 students.

- Be a highly skilled teacher who leads through example
- Be committed to working in accordance with our curriculum approaches and expectations

- Be committed to providing a high standard of education to our pupils
- Be committed to their own learning and CPD
- Build strong relationships with pupils, parents and staff
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
